Dogwood, Reflected Light, Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona

Sunlight reflected off the opposite wall of this narrow canyon lends a subtle orange glow to the lichen-covered sandstone, and to the leaves of a red-osier dogwood growing beside the intermittent steam in Pumphouse Wash, a side canyon of Oak Creek Canyon, in the Coconino National Forest between Flagstaff and Sedona.
